About me

Hello! I’m Zachariah K. Crooks, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Gestalt Therapist, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Energy Psychologist with a deep passion for holistic and spiritual healing. My journey in the mental health field has been driven by a desire to help others find healing, peace, and a sense of wholeness in their lives.

I have a diverse background in various therapeutic approaches that allow me to tailor my methods to each individual’s unique needs. With advanced training in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy and Gestalt Therapy, I focus on uncovering and addressing the root causes of anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and addictive behaviors. I believe that true healing happens when we go beyond just treating symptoms and work on the deeper patterns that affect our emotional and mental well-being.

In my practice, I combine traditional counseling techniques with holistic modalities such as Energy Psychology and Breathwork. These integrative approaches help my clients to release old traumas, reframe negative beliefs, and cultivate new, positive patterns that support lasting change. Whether you're struggling with past wounds, seeking to overcome current challenges, or wanting to connect more deeply with your inner self, I’m here to support you on your journey.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. My goal is to empower you to take charge of your healing process, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. I look forward to working with you and helping you discover the tools and insights needed to thrive.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Zachariah Crooks. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

From his profile, I pictured a therapist that was conventional and open minded to go down any avenue to get to the heart of my issues through any means necessary. Without knowing any of my past, present, Dr Zach listened and distinguished immediate concern and began a continuing conversation of building me up and confirming my attributes and values without needing an intense background of me. I felt comfortable within three sessions, enough to print out his responses and share them with family who were invested in my healing. I can say without doubt that Dr Zach believes that doing the work will begin the healing that you desire. As much as therapy can be a slap in the face, Dr Zach is a real person, who has experienced healing firsthand and also has the patience to be present when one has a hang up and keeps-0 circling the healing process. He is honest and present in the therapy session. I am happier to have someone loyal to my healing.

Zachariah is a great therapist. I feel like he listens to me and offers helpful solutions to help me navigate the challenges I'm having. I appreciate how he summarizes the sessions afterwards and provides me with helpful journal prompts to get through until we meet again.

Zachariah Crooks lets each session go where it needs to go. He does not impose an agenda on the sessions. He asks probing questions in response to what you bring to the session.
I would recommend Zachariah to anyone who wants to do the work to grow and become healthier.
