Hi Friend, This is a little about me. First and foremost I am a regular and down-to-earth guy. At times Counseling professionals and other helping professionals can can get reputations to "high and mighty", "up on a pedestal", or 'holier than thou". I am a regular 40 year old man who is balding and slightly overweight. I have made mistakes in my life as I'm sure you have. I do not have a magic wand to make your life better in a hurry. What I do have is an open ear, a caring heart, a good education, and about 15 years in counseling a wide variety of people and issues. Of these the most common issues I have helped others with are overcoming symptoms of depression, anxiety, addiction, and common family issues. As I mentioned earlier there is no magic to what I do but we can work toward goals and talk it out.

I work with clients of all backgrounds and ages, from middle school to older adults, with a particular focus on helping older adults navigate the complexities of aging, grief, and life purpose. My approach is grounded in understanding the interconnected nature of emotional wellbeing. I specialize in supporting individuals working through depression, anxiety, stress, and self-esteem concerns, as well as the deeper issues that often underlie these experiences—including trauma, guilt, shame, and feelings of abandonment. I believe you're the expert of your story and your life experiences, and that we all have strengths inside that can and will assist us in overcoming challenges and the ways that life ... life's. As long as we don't give up. I'm a believer that we all have the answers we’re looking for inside of us; sometimes we need just somebody to help us dig deep enough to find them. Not everyone believes they can, some just don't subscribe to that notion. And that’s okay. My goal is to help guide you through those things. Without judgment. Without deciding for you. It takes a lot of courage to admit a need, seek out and accept help from a stranger. I'm proud of you for getting started! It's an honor to be able to walk alongside you.

Online therapy and in-person therapy both connect you with a licensed professional, and the main difference is how you meet.
