Amy Russell, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist in the state of Kentucky with three years of experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress management, and other emotional and behavioral concerns.
I believe that every individual has a unique story, which is why I take a client-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore challenges, and develop practical strategies that align with your goals and values.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client's needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients build healthier thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and foster lasting personal growth.
In addition to individual therapy, I have experience providing couples counseling, helping partners improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships through collaboration and understanding.
Whether you're seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to better understand yourself, I am committed to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you throughout your journey. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I look forward to helping you build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
